My OBGYN happened to come in to see me at the time the meds wore off and I was in my worst pain yet, which made it hard to explain things to her. Nurse came in with morphine and I was a happy camper for the most part. This is when Wes decided it was safe to run down to get lunch in the cafeteria (he was practicing for when we are there in Aug.). At this point they said I had no infection and I got an ultrasound to see if I had a stone, which they didn't find one. We were there for hours longer watching tv while we both tried to snooze a little while waiting to hear what was going on. Wes was a trooper through it all.
About 7 hours after we arrived, my OBGYN said we could go, sent us off with pain meds and antibiotics (in case an infection does occur), and with no real answer. I was fine at work the next day but had to leave early Wed which led me to taking Thursday off too. I saw an urologist on Friday and she is thinking kidney stones too, but since I am pregnant they can't do x-rays or a CT scan. So here we are now, hoping it passes so I can stop worrying about the pain coming back while I am working.
I am almost 27 weeks and will soon be in the 3rd trimester! I can't believe how quickly this is going! Sleeping, breathing, bending, and getting in and out of bed are suddenly getting harder and harder. I am starting to dread this summer with the heat and the fact I will be like a beached whale trying to get out of our bed. I will post a picture of the belly this week when I turn 27 weeks!
