Celebrating a new Guardian Angel

On Friday February 17th, my Grandmother who was the matriarch of our very large family (6 children, 26 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren) passed away at home. She lived a very long and wonderful life, passing at 90 years old. We went to Los Angeles for the services and was blessed to be reunited with my family. My grandma would be so proud of us all coming together and being there for each other.

There are many pictures in this post, I couldn't resist since there were so many cute ones!

Bailey and her Grandpa playing with his iPad.

Saying "nigh nigh" to her Grandpa
We had breakfast at the famous Bob's which is right near my dad's house. This is my first time acting like a tourist and taking a picture with Bob.

Going out to play in the backyard that I was fortunate to play in growing up at my childhood home!

She loved the flowers...

Checking out the daffodils. The neat thing is, these are some of the same daffodils my mom planted. They keep coming back. This is where the daffodil became my favorite flower. I remember planting flowers in this garden with my mom when I was younger.

Walking with Wes on one of her many laps around the yard.

She loved kissing all the little statues in the gardens...

I love this shot of her and the backyard I grew up in...

I took her out front to meet my old dancing partner, the jockey. I loved dancing, hugging, and kissing this jockey as a kid.

Since Bailey has been born I have been telling Wes I want a picture with me and Bailey in front of the house I grew up in. I finally got what I wanted!

Bailey was playing peek a boo with her cousins at the reception for my Grandma. She was in red for my grandma since it was her favorite color. She was being so cute, I couldn't help but take so many pictures of her and all her cuteness. The reception was at the same place Wes and I had our wedding reception almost 5 years ago! Very neat to bring Bailey there.

Giving hugs to her Aunt Ali-Sun! My sister is leaving for a year+ adventure around the world tomorrow, so she had to give her some loving before she left.

This morning before leaving, Bailey was watching TV with my dad while we were packing up. She was a tired little girl but enjoying some cuddle time with her Pops.

Playful Bailey

I took Bailey to Brandy's so I could have some company after a family member passing, more about that in the next post I will be doing. Here are her and Kai enjoying some strawberries before they played together.

Putting her headband on..so silly!
I treated myself to Starbucks, Bailey wanted the cup so bad so I filled it with water for her. She loved it. :)

She was having fun putting stickies all over her and the floor. Notice she also has crayon all over her face.

She was very hyper this morning, so I put some paint in a ziploc bag (an idea I found online) for her to play with. It lasted a whole 5 minutes until she wanted to OPEN the bag.

Gotta love the hair do that morning.

Not a fan of snow, but loves her little friends!

I am a bit behind again on my blog posts, but am going to catch up. :)

Bailey loves to strap her friends in her booster chair...

She loves her friend Scout.

Goof Ball!

I had a delayed start about a week and a half ago, so we wanted to play with Bailey in the snow for a bit. She didn't want to play with us in the snow though. This was the first good snowfall we had this year. I hope we get more so Bailey will play in it!

Bailey wanted to eat dinner with another one of her friends. She also enjoyed feeding her new bear she got from the nice check out lady at the grocery store.

Where's Bailey??

There she is!

Trying to be like her mommy and daddy

Here are pictures from the past 2 weeks or so...

I was trying to get a few things done so I gave Bailey her Bronco's pillow pet from her Grandparents and my Ipod. She was a very happy camper watching Yo Gabba Gabba aka "go, go, go" in Bailey talk.

She loves wearing our shoes...

Checking out her new booster seat...

Coloring fun!

She ended up just trying to put the crayons up her nose.

One morning before daycare I said "Bailey let's go bye bye, we are going to Miss Deanna's" She ran and grabbed my old purse and said "dye dye" and walked from the house to the car carrying the purse. Such a girl!

She can also be a bit of a Tom Boy too. She loves putting on Wes' hat and wearing it around the house. She even likes to put it on her bunny chair's head.

Silly girl playing while wearing her daddy's hat.

Apparently the calculator is a phone to her. She was busy talking to her friends and eating dinner.

"No pictures please, I have important business to attend to"

"Ok now what were you saying?"
