Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations

I am finally updating! For Thanksgiving we went to my brother's girlfriends house. Bailey had fun playing outside with one of the golf balls from the golf course she lives on. She had fun hanging out with her cousin Tessa too!

We gave in this year and bought a fake Christmas tree. Bailey was clearly excited about the box more than anything. When she saw it she said "oh yeeaa!", something she says to many new things she sees.

Helping Wes "fluff" up the tree...
After we got it up, she "helped" me put up ornaments. Her idea of helping was pulling them back off. She has learned to just touch them and leave them ON the tree now.

Trying to put the Santa on the top...

Me and Bailey in front of the tree and our new shelves we put up! Wes was nice enough to take down the deer head so I could put up something new, finally!
Bailey had fun playing on the bean bag game that my Uncle Larry made for us. We were excited to finally get one from him, so was Bailey!

Getting good at putting the bean bags in the hole!
She got a kick out of standing on it, Wes was not so keen on the idea.

Many sides of Bailey

I got out the camera to take a picture of Bailey making her "I want some of your food" face, but she made these instead when she noticed I was pointing the camera at her.

After many attempts, I got her "I want that food!" face.
(She also does this when she wants your drink)

Decided to dress her up in this fairy outfit that a friend of mine gave me awhile back.

Going into her favorite little hideout, her closet.

Such a cute little fairy!

The Broncos game is on tonight, so Wes put her in her Broncos jersey.

This jersey is pretty perfect (except for the fact that it is a Broncos one and not a Raiders one)

Wearing more Bronco gear.

Bailey has shown us she can be many things; a cuddler, a girly girl, a tom boy, silly, stubborn, sneaky, a bit temperamental, loving, selfish, giving, and too dang cute! She is going to really be trouble in our future, I can feel it!

Family fun!

Wes raked up the leaves in our front yard earlier this week. We thought it would be fun to have Bailey play in them.

It was so nice having some days off with Wes, something we get every three months. We were finally able to go to the Discovery museum together. I am so thankful for the days that we can spend it together as a family.

Smile!

Bailey has all of a sudden started to "smile" when I tell her to smile. It is the funniest/scariest looking smile.

Cute Bailey smiling all on her own...

When I told her to smile for the camera...

and it gets scarier...

aahh back to cute smiling Bailey...

She does it again...

15 Months!

Yesterday, I took Bailey's 15 months pictures (which she turned on Thursday). The ones outside turned out cute!

A great trip to Red Bluff!

Since we were not able to go to my 10 year reunion this weekend in L.A., we decided to visit my mom's sister a few hours away in Red Bluff. I am so glad we were finally able to go, it has been far too long. On Wednesday, my Uncle took us to the Lassen national park where he used to be a park ranger.

Bailey walking with her Great Aunt Julie

She was clearly excited and wanted to run up ahead.

Walking with her Daddy...
After watching a video of the volcano and history of Lassen, we drove for awhile and found a spot to have lunch. It was pretty cold up there, but very pretty. Bailey had fun running around and checking things out.

She wasn't too into touching the snow on the ground.

Me and my girl!

She was having fun finding sticks...

After our drive through Lassen, we stopped in Redding to cross this really neat bridge that goes over the Sacramento River.

Her Great Uncle Larry carried her across, she was so happy!

Wes, Bailey, and Aunt Julie

Me and Bailey on the bridge. The top of the bridge acts as a sundial. Made me a little dizzy looking up at it with the cables and how it curved.

"Mom I am so tired, but I WILL NOT sleep. Must stay awake!"

She finally gave in!

My cousin JJ let her have some of her juice, Bailey was obsessed and kept going back for more.

JJ even let her play with this skull, Bailey thought it was pretty neat since it lights up.

In the box of blocks...

Pretending the block was a phone...

We all had a great time at my Aunt and Uncle's house. I always knew they were only a few hours away, but once we got there I realized that it is so silly we haven't visited more often. My mom would not be pleased with me. We will definitely be going back more often!
