Friends

I am able to update from my computer tonight, so no posting from my phone. Today was a busy day. We went to my dad's work, had lunch with him, went to my cousin's, then went back to my parents. When we got home a few people came over to see Bailey. One of those people is one of my oldest friends (since 3rd grade). It was nice having her spend some time with Bailey, even if Bailey started to get a tad cranky. Bailey had a long and exhausting day, she should sleep well tonight (I hope!). Here are some pictures of Kelly and Bailey hanging out on the couch together.

Helping us pack

I was taking a little rest before starting all our packing. Bailey came over to say hello!
We were almost done packing up our clothes when Wes decided to put Bailey in my bag. She thought it was sooo fun! I thought it was pretty cute too, until she decided to unfold the clothes that I had packed so nicely in there.

Piggy back ride!

Bailey's new thing that she loves, is being on our shoulders. Wes now does this with her every night and she loves it. He acts like a wild horse going up and down our hallway...they sure do have a blast! It is really funny how she holds onto his hair with a death grip, which doesn't feel so good for Wes. The sacrifices we make for our little girl :).

Her laugh is awesome, makes us smile every time. She truly melts our hearts everyday.

Hurricane Bailey

If you can believe it, I didn't take any pictures of Bailey on my camera today. I took a couple pictures on my phone to send to Wes but that is about it.

This picture shows what Bailey did all day. The basket of toys was full of all her toys and the floor was clean. In the afternoon I realized that all the toys were out of the basket and spread across the floor, thanks to Hurricane Bailey.
I actually took these next pictures last Tuesday, but didn't post them on the blog. These are from her first time sitting in a shopping cart without her car seat. I took these while in line, she was clearly over the whole shopping trip by this point. She did an awesome job though!

My day with Bailey

Bailey is getting more and more energetic each day. I am constantly following her around the house making sure she is safe, it really is exhausting. Wes and I talk about how we are nervous for her to be walking since it will be 10 times harder. Here are some pictures to show you what my day with Bailey was been like today.


She is so into our phones, so Wes gave her his old phone. She saw it on the couch today and grabbed it. She looks like she is trying to be sneaky.


She LOVES the bathroom for some reason. I think it might be because our house is all hard floor and the bathroom has a nice cozy rug. We now have to keep the door closed so she won't go in there. So instead of going past the closed door...she bangs on and laughs.


She LOVES her rubber duck. After each bath, she holds on tight and takes it with her to the changing table. I decided to just put one in her toy basket to play with. Also notice that she is not holding on to the table when she stands there.


This time she was trying to stand without touching the table in any way! She ended up on her bottom. She is getting really good at slowly bending down into a sitting position.


She discovered the phone book! She LOVES paper, so she was very excited about this find. Of course she also discovered the diaper bag and decided to pull the blanket out.

She is just too cute, I can't get over it! I may be exhausted from chasing her around, but I sure am one proud mama!

I saw Bailey was about to climb the entertainment center, so I grabbed my camera. I took the picture put it down quick and got behind her. She didn't fall...I had to actually pry her off! We are in for it, she is a little monkey!

Go Arizona!

We put Bailey in her Arizona outfit from her Uncle Spidey since they are playing tonight. We wanted to go watch the game with him tonight, but it was too late and WAY too snowy. It has been snowing non-stop since about 12 or so. Wes says we have about 8 inches now! Where the heck is the Spring that I was looking so forward to??
Here is Bailey trying to grab the remote. She LOVES anything with buttons. This picture was taken a few minutes after I watched her put her feet on the the bottom ledge of it while holding on! She is starting to climb on everything now.

Bailey's new ride

We are headed to L.A. for Bailey's baptism so I wanted to get a stroller that wouldn't take as much room in the car as our other stroller does. I did a little research on line and found this one, I am pretty happy with it so far. Let's see how it does in L.A. :)

Sometimes I wonder why we even buy toys for Bailey when she is happy with empty bottles and paper.

Being Silly

I had to do a few things in Bailey's room, so I brought Bailey with me. She was hanging out right outside the door by the bookshelf playing. While in the closet, I wanted to look through all her hats. I decided to put some on her. She was NOT pleased with me.

This is when she started to really get annoyed and wouldn't keep the hat on long enough for me to take a picture.

But, I got one last one!
She then came into the room and found a box of headband stuff. The top wasn't latched so she easily took it off. She then would put a headband in her mouth and throw it on the floor. She was making a mess while I was trying to pick up the room!
I thought I would be silly and put on one of the headbands she was chewing on. She then started having fun looking at herself in the mirror.

The color purple

I put these leg warmers on Bailey because I know Wes likes these ones. I wanted to take some pictures of her in them. I REALLY wanted to take pictures of her in these cute dresses for the first day of spring, but I decided not to when I saw snow falling, just didn't seem fitting.



I had a few moments to make a bow for Bailey. I had nothing in mind, so I just grabbed a ribbon and started making something. This is what I ended up with. I wanted to make more, but Bailey was all over the place. I had to keep a close eye on her and chase her away from places I didn't want her to go.

Whenever I put Bailey in purple or put my font in purple, I kind of cringe. My mom hated purple, so I learned to hate it too. I have told myself that I won't make Bailey hate it as well, so I kind of make myself like it for her. I know...it is silly.

Bailey wanted to give me a hard time today. She woke up at 6:45, which is earlier than usual and then she had a hard time napping all day. She also wanted to crawl everywhere and when I would go to grab her, she would try to crawl faster.

Here is Bailey wearing another headband that I got her. She also is doing her silly/scary face she has learned to do.

The past week she has been trying to climb up her pack n play. I am not sure how much longer we will be able to put her in it. She was so easy as a little baby, now I feel like it is pay back. I feel like we are going to REALLY have our hands full with this little girl.

School is out!

Today was a great day! It was the last day of work for a month. I am so excited to spend so much time with Bailey and Wes, it is much needed. I couldn't wait to get to daycare after work and pick her up for the last time for a month!

Bailey also got a new toy yesterday from a friend of mine. She absolutely loves it, which is nice because it will keep her busy while we get things done around the house. Wes said that when he would hold her, she would reach and lean towards it because she wanted to go in it.
