Bailey's new house!

We spent Bailey's Christmas money from my parents on a playhouse! She loves the ones at daycare, so I thought she would love one at home too. We can't wait until it is warmer outside so we can stay outside longer playing in it.

Showing her the house for the first time...

Her favorite part of the house!

"Daddy, out of my house!"

Her second favorite part, the door.

The phone may actually tie with the door for a 2nd favorite...

A perfect Christmas

We had such an amazing Christmas! Wes and I kept commenting on how it was probably the best Christmas ever, it was perfect. Bailey had a blast and we had so much fun watching her smile, open presents, and play with her new toys. I never really knew Christmas until I had Bailey. I can't wait until next Christmas!!

We didn't get a chance to get Christmas cards out this year due to issues with the computer. Here were some pictures we took for the card that was never made.

Christmas morning...

We caught Bailey coming out of her room as soon as she woke up. A tradition I am keeping with that I had when I was a child, minus the huge movie lights shining on us. My dad went a bit overboard, but I am completely thankful...wonderful memories!

She was sooo happy with her drum set!

My big girl on her 2nd Christmas!

She did great at opening her presents!

...and playing with them!

Action shot throwing her new Broncos ball from her Grandparents!

Stocking time!

Me and my girl after opening her gift from her Aunt Ali-Sun!

She loves her books :)

Taking a break after opening all her gifts. Now it is time to really play!

The kids are playing...

Some of Bailey's friends

I finally have my lap top back from getting worked on multiple times. It has been a very annoying month fighting with it, I have missed my blog. I have so much to catch up on, so I may have many posts the next couple of days/weeks.

I am going to start with a post I wanted to do before my hard drive decided to bite the dust, which is on Bailey and her friends.

My friend Stephanie and her daughter Kayleigh came to visit with me and Bailey for a bit when I was on break. Bailey was happy to have a friend over, but not so happy to share her toys. This is something we have been working on.

Bailey and her stinker face!

Brandy's son Kai had his first birthday in the beginning of December. Bailey had fun with Kai and her other friend Mia.

Leave it to my child to have her hand in her pants. Crazy girl!

Coloring fun!

Bailey has learned how to climb up on the kitchen chairs. Sometimes she will even try to climb onto the kitchen table from the chairs if we turn away for a second. I decided to grab her booster chair and have her sit in it and color. She was pretty occupied for a good 5-10 minutes with it, until she started drawing on the table, herself, and then eating the crayons.

Can you see the crayon on her face next to her mouth? yum!

Bailey was eating everything in sight tonight for dinner and if she didn't have food she would scream. While I was on the phone with my dad I gave her one of these pouches to keep her happy and quiet so I could hear my dad. First thing she did when I handed it to her was squeeze it! She has never squeezed these pouches. One thing I have learned from having a child...never say never!

Bailey now has 9 teeth (including 3 molars!) and on her way to cutting her 10th (4th molar). She has been completely OFF the pacifier for almost 2 weeks. She goes down easy at night, but only sleeps until 5:00am or so which is a an hour and a half earlier than before. The bad thing is, she doesn't NAP! She took a 20 minute nap today which led to a cranky Bailey for Wes all day. Let's hope she starts to nap again!

Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations

I am finally updating! For Thanksgiving we went to my brother's girlfriends house. Bailey had fun playing outside with one of the golf balls from the golf course she lives on. She had fun hanging out with her cousin Tessa too!

We gave in this year and bought a fake Christmas tree. Bailey was clearly excited about the box more than anything. When she saw it she said "oh yeeaa!", something she says to many new things she sees.

Helping Wes "fluff" up the tree...
After we got it up, she "helped" me put up ornaments. Her idea of helping was pulling them back off. She has learned to just touch them and leave them ON the tree now.

Trying to put the Santa on the top...

Me and Bailey in front of the tree and our new shelves we put up! Wes was nice enough to take down the deer head so I could put up something new, finally!
Bailey had fun playing on the bean bag game that my Uncle Larry made for us. We were excited to finally get one from him, so was Bailey!

Getting good at putting the bean bags in the hole!
She got a kick out of standing on it, Wes was not so keen on the idea.
